Access to Work

Access to Work is a UK government-funded programme that supports people with disabilities, including neurodivergent individuals, to overcome workplace barriers. Whether you're employed or self-employed, Access to Work provides tailored support to help you perform your role effectively and ensure inclusion, productivity, and wellbeing at work.

For neurodivergent individuals, Access to Work offers a range of support options, including funding for reasonable adjustments. These can include special equipment, technology, or aids, such as noise-cancelling headphones, voice-to-text software, or ergonomic adjustments.

Additionally, Access to Work provides funding for more personalised support, such as coaching. We offer coaching through the Access to Work scheme, providing tailored support to help you navigate executive function challenges, communication differences, and managing stress or conflict. Coaching is a valuable resource for reducing the impact of neurodivergence on work performance while supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing. Our coaching helps you develop self-awareness about how you work best, so you can thrive in your role and contribute meaningfully to your workplace.

To apply for support, you can contact Access to Work directly or through your employer. The application process involves a discussion about your specific challenges and the types of support you need. Once approved, Access to Work will work with you and your employer to identify and implement the most suitable adjustments.
