Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching helps you achieve specific goals and create sustainable change by focusing on the future and enabling you to take action.
Therapy addresses mental health needs and emotional healing by exploring the past to understand and improve present feelings and experiences.
What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?
Coaching helps you achieve specific goals and create sustainable change by focusing on the future and enabling you to take action.
Mentoring involves guidance and advice from someone with more experience to help you develop skills and knowledge over time.
Is the coaching you offer face-to-face or in-person?
We primarily work online via Zoom and if you are within a reasonable distance, we can work in-person, if you are able to travel (currently Portsmouth, Salisbury and West Kirby). We also have a network of coaches across the UK and Europe who we could refer you to.
Do I need a diagnosis?
No, you don't. If you suspect you are neurodivergent, are awaiting an assessment and/or self-identify we will welcome you with or without a 'formal' diagnosis.
Do I need to be neurodivergent to be coached by you?
You don't need to be neurodivergent to be coached by one of our team. We are all neurodiverse as a human species, but not all of us are neurodivergent.
Our approach is adaptable and can be tailored to each person's unique needs so can be valuable for everyone, regardless of neurotype.
Can I have an informal chat with you before booking a coaching session?
Yes - go to Book a Chat for more information. Or you can send us a message via the Contact Form to arrange this.
